PROPERTIES AND USES
Coconut Oil is obtained by cold pressing the pulp of coconut. At room temperature, Coconut Oil is characterised by a solid, butter-like consistency; at temperatures above 20°, it appears as an oily liquid. This characteristic is important for storage and use: in summer, it can be contained in a bottle and taken with a dropper; in winter, it is necessary to heat the container in a bain-marie or transfer it to a larger, sterilised container with a lid and then take it out with a spoon. In cosmetics, the skin benefits in beauty, elasticity and softness. Excellent as a make-up remover for the face or as a moisturiser after a shower.
