PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS Derived from Cinnamomum camphora, a plant of the Lauraceae family, Camphor essential oil is known for its balsamic, moth-repellent and anti-inflammatory properties and is useful in cases of muscular pain. • Circulation stimulant: it has a toning action, useful in case of fatigue, low blood pressure and asthenia. Diffuse in the morning for a boost of energy. • Anti-inflammatory: massaged onto areas of discomfort, it helps relieve inflammatory conditions such as sprains, contusions, muscular soreness and tension; used before physical activity, it prepares the muscles for the performance and is an effective anti-fatigue remedy after workouts and in the case of sport-related injuries. • Vasoconstrictor: if massaged on the legs, it prevents venous and circulatory diseases, useful in case of heavy legs, legs oedema and swelling as well as lymphatic stagnation. • Balsamic: when inhaled, it has an effective mucolytic and decongestant action on the respiratory tract. Recommended to help loosen thick mucus and eliminate phlegm in cases of colds, sinusitis and cough. • Repellent: it helps repel insects such as moths, gnats and flies.
